Adamlar is a Turkish alternative-rock band founded in 2014. Fusing rock, psychedelic and Anatolian influences with sharp, satirical lyrics, the group quickly built a cult following with their home-recorded debut Eski Dostum Tankla Gelmiş (2014). They expanded their sound on the studio albums Rüyalarda Buruşmuşuz (2016), Dünya Günlükleri (2019), Harekete Kimse Mâni Olamaz (2023) and the latest full-length Kahırlı Merdiven (2024). Their hit song “Hikaye” has become an anthem for a new generation of Turkish indie listeners, while other popular tracks such as “Acının İlacı,” “Hümeyra,” and “Koca Yaşlı Şişko Dünya” highlight the band’s range—from existential melancholy to sardonic storytelling. Adamlar continue to stand out in the Turkish alternative scene with energetic live shows, thought-provoking songwriting, and a sonic palette that merges urban life with Anatolian echoes.
