Norwegian seven-piece alternative pop orchestra formed in 2008 in Hedmark. Originally called Ten Glen Extended, the band started out as a duo back in 2008, expanding in 2012 as a eight-piece collective. MEERs music is a mix of orchestral pop, classical music and progressive rock. Their sound is far form minimalistic and in constant motion, with grandiose string arrangements and polyphonic vocals. Lineup remain the same until July 2025, when vocalist/keyboardist Knut Kippersund Nesdal quit the band to pursue musical theater activities.
