Mioko Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口美央子; born the 22 March 1959) is a Japanese singer, writer and composer blending elements of traditionally inspired Japanese music and themes with diverse music influences ranging from AOR, jazz, fusion, reggae and synthpop. She made a brief singing career from 1980 to 1985 during which she released 3 studio albums and 1 best-of. From mid 80's, she withdrew to the background to compose songs for other Japanese singers like , Yuki Saitou, , , , Isako Washio, , Seika Iwashita, Watanabe Naoyoshi, , , , , . She made her comeback as a singer artist in January 2019 with the release of Tokisakashima.
