American R'n'B / disco / house music singer, and artist. Born: (date unknown) in Ossining, New York, USA. Her seminal single "[m=161368]" (1982), was #22 on U.S. Club Play chart, #75 on U.S. R'n'B Chart). Among others, it's been sampled by Eric B. & Rakim in their single "Eric B. Is President" (1986); by Grand Puba in "Fat Rat" for the "[m=175369]" (1991); by SWV in their single "[r=750096]" (1996); and by Kool G Rap & D.J. Polo in their single "[m=325823]" (1996). Her other classic single "Touch Me (All Night Long)" (1984), as lead vocalist of group Wish (3) was #70 in the U.S. R'n'B chart, #49 in UK chart, and would later become a huge success with Cathy Dennis on her cover version, "[m=99333]" (1991). She charted again with "[m=161369]" (1983), #19 in U.S. Club Play chart, and was the lead singer for the Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band track "Deputy Of Love" (1979), and the Fantasy (2) track "[m=138862]" (1980).
