Originally a jazz trio from Hamburg, Germany, founded by , and in 2005. Recorded two albums with in 2012 and 2016, permanently adding vibraphonist to the group in 2014. Heinemann left the band in 2020. As of 2024, the band is known as 440 Hertz, with (vocals, organ) and (flute, saxophone) as permanent members. (strings) and Carsten "" Meyer (keys) have been regular collaborators with the group.
