German Indie Rock/Post Punk band founded in 1998 in Hersbruck near Nürnberg. Initially, the band was founded as "chill-out band" for the Hersbruck-based students bands and . For the "chill-out"-aspect, the musicians played different instruments, as they were playing in their initial bands. In the early 2000's, "The Robocop Kraus" became a successful Post Punk band in the 2000's in Germany. After 2007, the band went on a 15-years hiatus, but reformed in 2022 as "Robocop Kraus", discarding the "The" in the band name.
