English saxophonist and blues keyboardist. Born: October 28, 1937, Romford, Essex, England. Died: May 8, 1974, Finsbury Park Station, London, England. First came to atention as a jazz saxophonist with , then switched to blues as a Hammond organist and singer. He was found dead of an apparent suicide beneath a tube train at the Finsbury Park Station in 1974.
