Jody Stephens is the former drummer of Big Star. A few years ago, Stephens was asked to play some music at a few screenings of the documentary Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me, and he asked Luther Russell, former frontman of the ’90s L.A. band the Freewheelers, to help him out. Stephens and Russell have now formed a new duo called Those Pretty Wrongs.
