Chainsaw started in September 1997 in Athens, Greece, by Decapitator as a one man band. In June 1998 with a full line up, the band recorded two rehearsal tapes that included 16 of the band's songs plus covers by Venom, Kreator, Sodom and others. In December 2013 (again as a one man band) Chainsaw recorded it's first demo, entitled "Fuck The Church". That demo contained songs from that era. In November 2014 Chainsaw finished their first full length album, entitled "Hill Of Crosses", which contains both old and new songs.The recordings were made with a full line up this time, including Witchkiller (bass) and Nuctemeron (drums).
