Metrópoli was an Argentine pop rock and new wave band formed in 1982. With only two studio albums in their brief career, they established themselves as one of the most influential groups in the Argentine rock scene of the 1980s. Their best-known songs are: "Contractura", "Muñecos uniformes" and "Héroes anónimos". The band reunited in 2010.
