Grand Funk Railroad

American rock band from Flint, Genesee County, Michigan (also known as Grand Funk), formed in 1969. They were very popular in the 1970s and constantly toured sold-out venues around the world. of Rolling Stone magazine writes: “You can't talk about 1970s rock without talking about GRAND FUNK RAILROAD!” The band's name is a play on the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad, a railway line that ran through their hometown of Flint, Michigan.
