American soul singer. Born on September 7th 1939 in Charleston, Tennessee (USA). Latimore's first professional experience came as a pianist for various Florida-based groups including Joe Henderson and Steve Alaimo before securing a contract with the Dade Records (2) and Glades labels of Florida under the name Benny Latimore. He signed with Malaco Records in 1982 and released 7 modern soul albums.
