W. D. Fisher

Band from Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1966, the band was firstly named South Gate 24 and changed to William D. Fisher in 1969. The band started to be known in the summer of 1971 by playing at the opening of ''La Petite Bastille'', at the University of Laval, in the festivities of ''St-Jean'' and for the opening for Gentle Giant. They recorded their album during the summer of 1972 at for a total of 80 hours of work. It was released the Feb. 14, 1973. With the coming of bands like , their agent wanted them to record in french, but it didn't worked well. The band disbanded at the end of 1973 and the members followed their normal life.
