Latin-jazz artist, composer, producer, and DJ from Bari, Italy. Born in 1962 or 1964 in Bari, Apulia, Italy. He DJ's internationally and has compiled several compilations, most notably the Viagem and the Deep, Afrocentric, Modal Jazz Series. Apart from recording many albums of his own, Conte has recorded and produced for a great many other artists, including Rosalia De Souza, Barbara Dennerlein, Stefania Di Pierro, and more. He also has several regular musicians he has worked with, including Gianluca Petrella, Fabrizio Bosso, Pietro Lussu, Sandro Deidda, Pietro Ciancaglini, Daniele Scannapieco, Lorenzo Tucci, et al. Many of these artists are associated acts on his regular Italian label Schema of which many albums have received international distribution by the major Universal Music Group under several of their labels. More recently, Conte has worked with . He has also been quite prolific remixing, providing several each year, including remixes for Japanese artist Tatsuo Sunaga (aka Sunaga T Experience) and for jazz band associates The Five Corners Quintet.
