Cry Babies

Jacareí based dance-music group, founded in 1959. The group was leaded by drummer Nelsinho Marreli (). Other members were (bassist and musical director), Gilberto Moreira aka Giba (lead singer) and (percussionist). In those early years was a member of the group too, before embarking on a solo career. In the late 60’s, with a significantly changed staff, the band released some funk-soul recordings. The group has continued its activities to date.
