Duke Lake is the pseudonym of Antonello Gabelli, he began his career as a musician in the late 60's, more precisely in 1969 when he replaced Fabrizio Levati as guitarist for the Italian group " I Corvi " famous for the song " Sono Un Ragazzo Di Strada " and the cover of " Bang Bang ". He left " I Corvi " in 1971 and joined the musical group " Nuova Idea " in replacement of the guitarist Marco Zoccheddu. Between 1983 and 1984 he released and arranged under "Memory Group" label 3 singles that are the Italo-Disco history: Duke Lake " Do You ", J.D. Jaber " Don't Top Lovin' " , Mac Jr. " Elephant Song ". In 1983 Ennio Tricomi founded the record labels " Cruisin Records " and " Hiara Dischi " and five years later he brought the old " I Corvi" comrades Angel Ravasini, Antonello Gabelli and Gimmi Ferrari into the recording studio and resumed his live activity. Antonello passed away in October 2016 and the following year "I Corvi" did the "Lello Tour 2017" in his memory.
