German musician, born 11 June 1974 in Bielefeld, Germany. In his hometown, he had some early bands. In 1994, he left to Hamburg and co-founded the in 1997. In 1999, he joined the Punk band . In 2000, he became keyboarder for the Hamburg band , where he was part of the line-up until 2009. In 2002, he released his first solo album, in 2005, he also became co-founder of the Jazz trio . In 2008, he founded the House label together with . As a DJ, he uses the alias RVDS.
