Former member of The Rattles, which he had to leave in 1967 because of his Call-Up (Einberufung) to compulsory military service in the German Bundeswehr, then in force in West Germany at the time. Later involved in a number of projects with . Published his autobiography in 2020 (German only, ISBN 9783498001780). Announced his farewell tour. Founder of Gorilla Musik-Verlag GmbH. Producer of German bands Ougenweide and Novalis (3).
