Ashbury Heights is a Swedish Synthpop group consisting of singer/producer/songwriter Anders Hagström and singer Yasmine Uhlin (Since 2019). Originally the duo consisted of Anders Hagström and Yasmine Uhlin. Anders and Yasmine met in November 2005 and, upon discovering that they shared the same musical vision, decided to form a band. Their collaboration soon came into fruition and a 9 track demo entitled [r=1389471] was released after a very intensive month in the studio. In November of 2008 Yasmine announced her departure from Ashbury Heights to form a new band Javelynn. Anders simultaneously announced the addition of Kari Berg to Ashbury Heights as a replacement for Yasmine, and the new lineup's first output was the album 'Take Cair Paramour'. In 2013, Tea F. Thimé joined Ashbury Heights and debuted as a singer in the album The Looking Glass Society (2015). She left the band in 2019 to focus on her PhD, being replaced by original vocalist Yasmine Uhlin.
