Argentine Punk Rock group led by Ricardo Espinosa and later Fernando Rossi. Originating in Buenos Aires, Avellaneda, 1987 as a HCxBA group composed of Juan Fandiño, Fernando Cordera and two other friends that left after a few months. In early 1988 Ricky Espinosa, Alejandro Alsina and Sebastián Corona join. Flema saw it's debut on Invasión 88, followed by a demo. By the end of 1989, the group disbands. Espinosa met and befriended Santiago Rossi and Fernando Rossi, together they reformed the group as a trio and then quartet with a returning Alsina. Releases Pogo, Mosh y Slam and Nunca Nos Fuimos scored them unexpected city-wide notoriety. Extreme popularity led to problems at concerts and Flema found itself unable to play due to lack of venues around 1997. A side project by Espinosa, Flemita, was formed during this period. The group disbanded a few months after Espinosa's accidental death in late 2002. In 2007 it reformed for a 20 years concert which developed into an international tour and a return to activity.
