English rock band founded in 1961 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. The band split in December 1967 after releasing a plethora of singles and 2 albums, those being "Begin Here" and "Odessey And Oracle", the latter being considered a psych-pop classic , but reformed in 2004 due to new found interest in Odessey And Oracle. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
