Norwegian free jazz bassist, composer & bandleader, also known as IHF. Born on 23 September 1971 in Oppdal, Norway. Between 2006 and 2020, he has been living in the USA, first in Chicago and later in Austin, Texas. Since then he has been residing in Norway once again. Runs the label. Founded the Sonic Transmissions festival in 2015, which has led to Sonic Transmissions North in Trondheim, Norway, and to the birth of the label.
