Prunella Scales (born 22 June 1932, Sutton Abinger, Surrey, England, UK, died 27 October 2025) was an English actress. She is perhaps best known for playing the role of "Sybil Fawlty" in the television comedy Fawlty Towers (1975-1979). She was married to Timothy West since 1963. Mother of Samuel West. Commander (CBE) - Order of the British Empire.
