Black metal band from Bergen, Norway, formed by Gaahl (Kristian Espedal) and King ov Hell (Tom Visnes) following their departure from Gorgoroth after a name dispute lawsuit. Initially God Seed existed from March 2009 to July 2009 before Gaahl decided to retire from the metal scene. The band reunited again in 2012, but was put to rest in August 2015.
