Herbert Grönemeyer

German singer born on April 12, 1956 in Göttingen, grown up in Bochum. Father of Felix Grönemeyer, brother of Dietrich Grönemeyer. In his early age he also was an actor, well-known for his role as a war correspondent in the movie 'Das Boot' directed by Wolfgang Petersen. In 1998 he and his whole family emigrated to London, where he founded his own record label Grönland Records.
