Sven Väth (born: 26 October 1964 in Obertshausen, Germany), is one of Germany's most enduring and internationally known DJs / producers. Since he began DJ'ing at the famous Dorian Gray club at the age of 18, he co-founded trendsetting labels Eye Q Records, Harthouse and Cocoon Recordings; he ran the clubs OMEN and Cocoon Club. He's been considered the #1 German DJ for ages, by many. One of his trademarks are his vinyl-only marathon sets.
