Russian psychedelic/space rock band formed in early 2003 in Astrakhan, South Russia. Vespero went through several personnel changes, produced numerous low budget recordings, and turned into a mainstay of local scene before releasing their official debut album in 2007. Their music holds elements of psychedelia, space rock, progressive rock, kraut-rock, ethno-fusion, and improvised music. The band's current lineup features: Vitaly Borodin (violin), Alexander Kuzovlev (guitars, electronics), Alexei Klabukov (synths, keyboards, accordion), Arkady Fedotov (bass, synths, flutes, vocals), Ivan Fedotov (drums, percussions) and Alexander Timakov (percussion, drums).
