Indian film maker, actress, poet, performer and film professor at NYU. She graduated from Calcutta University and the Royal Academy Of Arts in England. She has written and directed numerous award winning documentaries, including two independent films, "Woman-Self" and "A Journey Within A Journey". Both films have won awards and citations both in the U.S and internationally. Known today as Manoshi Chitra Neogy, she teaches transformative and experimental cinema classes at New York University.
