William Onyeabor

William Onyeabor (born 29 March 1946 - died 16 January 2017) was a Nigerian funk singer and songwriter. He studied cinematography in Russia (USSR) for many years, returning to Nigeria in the mid-1970's to start his own music label and to set up a music and film production studio, . He recorded a number of hit songs in Nigeria during the 1970's, the biggest of which was Atomic Bomb in 1978.
