40 Watt Sun is a project of singer / guitarist / songwriter Patrick Walker, best known for his previous band, . The music is characterized by down-tempo rhythms and strong melodies, and by Walker's introspective lyrical themes and poignant vocals. While the band's debut release "The Inside Room" still shows some similarities to Warning's unique style of Doom Metal, their second album "Wider Than the Sky" completely abandoned Doom Metal grounds.
