Souls of Mischief are a hip-hop group from Oakland, California, formed in 1991 and affiliated with the Hieroglyphics collective. The lineup comprises A-Plus (Adam Carter), Opio (Opio Lindsey), Phesto aka Phesto Dee (Damani Thompson), and Tajai (Tajai Massey). Their breakthrough came with the debut album 93 ’til Infinity (Jive, 1993): the title track reached #72 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album peaked at #85 on the Billboard 200 and #17 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
